Oklahoma City Police Officer Rescues His Family from Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City police officer got his family out of their burning home Thursday morning thanks to the home's smoke detector.

The fire destroyed the home.

The Harrah Fire Chief said us the family with two young children lost everything including all of their Christmas presents.

Firefighters believe the fireplace is likely the source of the fire. The Red Cross is helping the family.
