WOODWARD, Oklahoma -- An oil tank containing about 9,000 gallons of waste oil exploded at J & R Transport Co. in Woodward at about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters said.
A nearby building was evacuated and Highway 412 was closed for about an hour.
The exact origin of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before any more tanks ignited.
No injuries were reported.
