PRYOR, Okla. - Thousands of troops are still overseas and the holidays can be especially tough for soldiers and their families. That's why a group of students in Green County is trying to make this Christmas a little brighter.
The Northeast Technology Center in Pryor is helping families tape special messages to their loved ones serving overseas.
"I know every soldier at some point gets a chance to get on a computer a little bit. If they get on and see their family, even if it is only a couple of minutes, that's going to boost their morale and help them to do their job better," Army wife Sarah Michel said.
If you would like to send a message, just call to make an appointment from now until December 13. The number is 918-825-5555.
