OKLAHOMA CITY - - Beautiful landscaping, live holiday music and countless Christmas lights. Can it get any better? Yes. It's all free.
Beginning November 28, the Myriad Botanical Gardens will be open late so everyone can come out and enjoy the multicolored landscape for free.
Last year the Myriad Botanical Gardens lost 80 percent of their Christmas lights due to the ice storm. This year, OG&E stepped in and donated brand new, energy efficient LED lights.
Over 150 volunteers have spent several weeks putting up the bright burning beacons. One area of the gardens is decorated in a brilliant blue as a tribute to the OKC Thunder.
The Myriad Botanical Gardens will be open free to the public from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting November 28. The Crystal Bridge is only free to the public on Sundays. The venue will be open through December.
