OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's been more than 48 hours and the investigation continued into a missing Oklahoma City girl.

The two-year-old disappeared with her mother's ex-boyfriend Sunday afternoon.

Police said the girl's disappearance doesn't fit the criteria for issuing an Amber Alert, but the child's mother disagrees and has begun searching for her daughter on her own.

Tiffany Washington is determined to find her two-year-old daughter, Imani Sincere.

"I'm trying to find my baby, my heart, my world," Washington said.

She's posted flyers in hopes that someone will see the child and call the police.

Rusty Abrams, Washington's ex-boyfriend, took Imani to the video store on Sunday. The two have not been seen since.

"This is very, very hard to stomach and really try to figure out what is going on in mind of this man who has my two-year-old daughter," Washington said.

Washington also said Abrams had been clean from drugs for a month and a half.

"The movies never made it to Blockbuster," Washington said. "But no one wants to put out an Amber Alert because they say you allowed her to go."

According to Sgt. Gary Knight, the child's disappearance doesn't qualify as an Amber Alert.

Knight said there's no evidence the girl is in any danger, and said Abrams disappeared with the toddler and his two children back in August for 18 hours.

"That turned out all right," Knight said. "There was no evidence an abduction had taken place then, just like now. There's no evidence there's any foul play."

As for Washington, she said she's frustrated she can't get more help and is taking matters into her own hands.

Police said a detective has been assigned to the case and the girl is listed in the National Crime Data Base.

Police also said a crime hasn't been committed but they do want to find the child and Rusty Abrams.

He drives a silver 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with a license plate number is 852-XPG. Police anyone with information to call 911.
