Checotah police identify Wal-Mart shooter

CHECOTAH, Okla. - Checotah police identified a former Wal-Mart employee who shot himself in the head inside the store as 25-year-old Michael Bucci.

Checotah Police Chief Andy Blizzard says Bucci died at the scene of the shooting Monday morning.

Blizzard says witnesses reported Bucci left the store about one year ago on good terms and did not appear angry or upset when arrived at the store on Monday.

Muskogee County Sheriff Charles Pearson says a "rambling" suicide note was found in Bucci's pocket.
