CORN, Okla. -- Several agencies in Oklahoma are searching for a man wanted for questioning in a Texas homicide case.

The State Bureau of Investigation said William Kevin Knittle is considered armed and extremely dangerous, and may be in the Washita/Custer county region of western Oklahoma.

Custer County interim Sheriff Kenneth Tidwell said they were alerted late Friday that the 47-year-old suspect has family in the area and may end up there.

The victim in the Texas homicide was shot to death, then dismembered and thrown into the Guadeloupe River about 3 weeks ago.

Authorities said Knittle is a member of the Aryan Brotherhood Gang, and police believe the victim was also a member of the gang.

He was last seen headed east on Highway 9 in Caddo County. He may be driving a silver, four-door Saturn with Texas plates. That tag number is 397YLT.

If you have any information, please contact police.
