A Freeze Warning is in effect for the main body of the state Monday night into Tuesday morning. Freezing temperatures are expected in most places thanks to cooler, drier air filtering into the state Monday behind Sunday's cold front.
Winds will be light Monday night and skies will remain clear--both factors which assist in radiational cooling. After the freeze Tuesday morning, a gradual warming trend will take us into the weekend, thanks to a ridge of high pressure building over the western half of the U.S.
Halloween looks dry and pleasant, with cool trick-or-treat temperatures in the 60's to upper 50's by late in the evening.
Don't forget that Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday morning at 2 a.m.
