Church's air conditioning unit stolen

MOORE, Okla. - Church members in Moore are wishing for cooler weather, since they have no air conditioning units to cool off their church.

Members of New Life United Methodist Church arrived Saturday morning to find their church's air conditioning units had been stolen.

Church officials said the losses are in the thousands, and that's money the church doesn't have.

"We've just finished paying off a large amount of debt with some flooding damage that we had, and we really can't afford new air conditioning units right now," church member Brian Kurklin said.
