OKLAHOMA CITY - It can be hard for tween girls to adjust as they grow into teenagers, but the Girl Scouts know how to help with that transition.
Things can definitely change as girls grow up, and that can put a strain on a parent's relationship. But the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma are hosting a conference that may help moms and daughters get through these challenging years.
If you are interested in attending the conference with your daughter, registration ends on October 23. The cost is $25 per person.
The conference will be held November 7-8 at UCO's Nigh University Center. It's open to all girls age 10-17 and their female guardians.
For more information call (800) 698-0022 or (405) 528-3535. You can also visit the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma Web site.
