Surface high pressure sprawling southward across the Central Plains continues to bulge farther south Friday. Calm surface winds, dry air, and clear skies are providing optimal cooling conditions early Friday.

Temperatures statewide are falling into the upper 30s and lower 40s early this. Scattered frost will be possible along and north of Interstate 44.

Temperatures will quickly warm by mid morning Friday, and into the 70s Friday afternoon under a sunny sky.
