INDIANOLA, Okla. -- The search continued Tuesday for a missing Yukon man. The 65-year-old's family said he's been missing since September 18.

Bill Wallace was last seen in Indianola while conducting business.

He called his wife and told her he'd be back home by 11 p.m. Wallace not only failed to show up, but investigators have yet to find a single trace of his car.

The family has since received support from a total stranger in the form of a new search effort.

"Every morning we kissed each other goodbye and said, ‘I love you' at night before bed," Bill Wallace's wife Kathy Wallace said. "It was always, ‘I love you.'"

Kathy Wallace said the phrase was the last she heard from her husband of 23 years before he went missing.

Mike Pruitt is organizing his own search group, including printing maps and stacking flyers for the search of a man he's never met.

"He just looked like a guy, a very good friend," Pruitt said. "Someone you would want to know."

Pruitt called on people to help search the Indianola area where Bill Wallace was last seen.

While Pruitt maps out his search effort, those who live in Indianola see the flyers, and have Bill Wallace on their minds.

"Nothing's ever happened like this," Indianola resident Kaycee Lowe said. "Usually, it's missing dog posters, not missing man."

It's been almost two weeks since Kathy Wallace found herself alone and worried.

"The longer it goes on, the worse you feel," Kathy Wallace said.

She said those searching for her husband are a blessing.

A big concern for those searching is Bill Wallace's medical condition. He is a diabetic and suffers from high blood pressure, taking medication for both.

Anyone interested in participating in the search for Bill Wallace is asked to contact Mike Pruitt by calling (918) 429 9235.

Bill Wallace's car is a 2002 black Pontiac Sunfire and is also missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the OSBI.
