A new contest is encouraging our children to get fit.
Governor Brad Henry and First Lady Kim Henry kicked off the statewide contest Thursday morning. They want kids in middle and high school to put together a 30-60 second video, promoting healthy lifestyles.
"This is an opportunity for children, our youth all across the state, to get involved, to use their own creativity through the Internet and through the production of videos, to learn about healthy lifestyles," Gov. Henry said.
You'll eventually have the chance to vote for your favorite video online at MyTakeOnHealth.com.
Students and even schools can win cash or prizes from Best Buy.
