OKLAHOMA CITY -- Easter Seals Oklahoma opened this week its first preschool for children dealing with autism.

The school provides education, therapy and rehabilitation to students.

"Our goal is to transition these kids ages 2-5 into public schools when it's appropriate for them," Program Director Wayne Rohde said. "My greatest joy is to make that happen for these kids."

The school is full, but parents can get on a waiting list.  For more information, the Easter Seals Web site or call (405) 239-2525.
