TULSA, OK -- A shooting at an east Tulsa business has sent a man to a Tulsa hospital, authorities said.

Police officers on the scene said a suspect entered the business, walked past the receptionist, and then shot a man in the head who was sitting in his office. The victim, 63-year-old Neal Richard Sweeney, remains in critical condition, police said.

According to police the shooting took place at Retail Fuels Marketing in the 3100 block of S 108 E Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

The suspect then fled the business and left the scene in a car.

Police said they do not yet know a motive for the shooting.

"It's hard to say," Officer Leland Ashley said. "Right now, it's really a whodunit."

Police have not yet released the name of the victim or a description of the suspect's vehicle.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
