NEWS 9's Toby Rowland released his highly anticipated Top 9 High School Football Players of Oklahoma Friday.

9. Crooked Oak's defensive end Kenneth Garett is listed at 6 foot 3 inches. The speedy senior is virtually unstoppable in Class 2A and could be considering Kansas State as his next home, according to Rowland.

8. The list looks to offense with McGuinness tight end Gabe Ikard. He's talented on field as well as on the basketball court, with state championships in each of the sports. The 6 foot 4 inch-senior is reportedly headed to OU or Notre Dame.

7. Lawton Mac's JaVon Harris already said he plans to attend OU to play ball. The safety collected 92 tackles last season.

6. Carl Albert defensive back and receiver Daytawion Lowe has speed and hands, Rowland said. As a game-breaker on both sides of the ball, the senior is said to be headed to OSU next fall.

5. The 320 pound Brandon Webb of Owasso said he's headed to OSU after finishing his last season with the Rams. The 6 foot 4 inch offensive lineman is the Cowboys highest rated recruit.

4. Tulsa Union running back Jeremy Smith ranks in on the list. The OSU-bound Smith is said to have good size, speed and instincts on the field.

3. Ronnell Lewis of Dewar High School played 8-man football until this season. He's committed to OU and considered the state's equivalent to the 9-year-old Little League baseball player in Connecticut with the 40 mph fast ball. Rowland expects him to dominate on the field in Class A.

2. Tulsa's Jenks High School offered defensive back Gabe Lynn to the list. Brother of Nebraska linebacker Phillip Dillard, Lynn has an NFL body, according to scouts. He's described as big, strong and fast and is reportedly headed to OU, Nebraska or North Carolina.

1. Carl Albert ranks in at number one for the second year in a row. Running back David Oku is said to be very skilled. Rowland believes he can run by players, around players, or over players in his quest for the state's championship title.
