YUKON, Okla. -- The westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Yukon were closed Friday afternoon after a tractor-trailer collided with two vehicles near Czech Hall Road, officials said.

EMSA spokeperson Laura O'Leary said two were taken to the hospital. One victim, a 20-year-old female, was taken to Canadian Hospital in good condition. The second victim, a 60-year-old man, is in critical condition at Presbyterian Hospital.

Authorities asked commuters to take alternative routes while they continue working the scene, as they detoured traffic in both lanes to Mustand Road.

At 4:11 p.m., power lines were reported down across both lanes of I-40, near the crash. A separate roll-over crash also caused traffic congestion on Mustang Road.

One passenger was trapped in a car after power lines fell over the vehicle.

Following the downed power lines, 1,600 OG&E customers were left without power. OG&E worked to restore the power to the customers, while others throughout the metro were also without electricity due to severe weather in the Oklahoma City area.

The two lanes of I-40 were reopened around 6 p.m. by officials.
