OKLAHOMA CITY - Three worthy candidates, who used CPR to save a life, were chosen as the Oklahoma Heart Hero finalists, but only one could be the winner.

Audra Skaggs was chosen after helping save her son's life last year.

Back in November she discovered her then 10-month-old not breathing. She performed CPR until Jhett could be taken to the hospital.

Skaggs said everyone should learn CPR.

"It's not that hard and it's something that's available to everyone. You can even take classes for free," said Skaggs. "It's just a little bitty piece of information that you can carry throughout your life each day and you never know when you're going to be able to help someone."

Jhett was diagnosed with a rare heart muscle disease and had to have a heart transplant.

The 19-month-old has to take anti-rejection medication, but for the most part, he lives as a normal little boy.
