For the past two days I've been following the progress of Kelly Osborne, a local youth pastor who was detained and deported from China following a human rights protest near the Olympic games.

His goal was to bring as much attention to what he calls the inhumane treatment of the Tibetans by Chinese authorities.

He accomplished his goal, at least here in Oklahoma City.   Osborne was greeted by a long line of television news cameras and supporters the Will Rogers World Airport this afternoon.

Ironically, while we're airing his story tonight on our 10:00 newscast, a majority of Oklahomans will be watching Michael Phelps -hopefully- making history in the water in Beijing.

Osborne argues the games should have never been awarded to China - a country that he says refuses to treat others like human beings.

He calls the games "a joke", mostly because while Phelps is -again, hopefully- getting his 8th medal tonight, he suggests a family in Tibet is likely being tortured or killed.

Just something to think about while you're cheering on our Phelps.
