An upper level low over northwest Colorado continues to provide lift and instability for showers and storms east of the Rockies Saturday.  In Oklahoma, the highest rain chances will remain across the Panhandle and southwest Oklahoma.  The rest of the western half of the state has a 20% to 40% chance for showers and storms.

Several more rounds of showers and storms are likely in the state through the middle of next week as multiple disturbances pass through the region.  Heavy rain is possible, especially across far west-central and southwest Oklahoma.

Rain totals from Thursday night's activity were as high as 2.4" east of Duncan.  The Oklahoma City metro area had totals as high as 2".

Rain totals topped six inches in some parts of central Oklahoma Monday.  Oklahoma City Will Rogers World Airport set a daily rainfall record for the entire month of August on Monday, August 11.  It rained 4.62", which broke the previous daily rain record for August.  The old record was 3.82" from August 19, 2007, which fell from the remnants of Tropical Storm Erin.
