TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The owners of Oklahoma City's new NBA team announced plans Thursday to buy the NBA Development League team in Tulsa.

Owner Clay Bennett of Oklahoma City, general manager Sam Presti and D-League President Dan Reed announced the purchase of the Tulsa 66ers today in Tulsa.

Terms of the sale were not released.

Oklahoma City joins the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs as the only NBA teams to own their D-League affiliates.

The 66ers are coached by Joey Meyer and finished 26-24 last season.
