TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa's new city hall was evacuated briefly yesterday morning after an independent film crew's light came too close to a sprinkler sensor.

Tulsa city employees are in the process of moving into the 15-story building known as One Technology Center. The building also houses three private businesses.

The film crew from Lazy Eye Productions was working on the building's vacant 14th floor when the fire alarm was set off.

City spokesman John Durkee said the sprinkler head was shut off within a few minutes, but that the carpet and unoccupied cubical work space on that floor suffered some water damage.

He said some of the water also seeped into the 13th-floor offices of Level 3, a private company.

Durkee did not know how much, if any, damage occurred on that floor.

The film company has liability insurance that will pay for the damages.
