Man pinned under tractor-trailer taken to hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Emergency crews extracted a man pinned in a vehicle beneath a tractor-trailer rig at NW 10 and N Morgan Road Friday night.

He was trapped for more than an hour, according to authorities.

"Luckily we had some heavy equipment that was just right down the street and they brought two giant forklifts and were able to pick this trailer up," Oklahoma City Fire Department District Chief Larry Rusher said.

The truck driver was taken to OU Medical Center with serious injuries.
