SPENCER, Okla. - Oklahoma County prosecutors have filed first-degree murder charges against an Oklahoma City man in connection with two killings on Independence Day.

Authorities said 22-year-old Brian Keith Madden Jr. was already being held in the Oklahoma County jail for violation of probation on drug charges.

He has been in custody since deputies arrested him July 9.

The two victims, 29-year-old Shalese Frazier and 33-year-old Kristan Bruner, were fatally shot and found dead in a vehicle off of NE 34. According to a court affidavit, both had gunshot wounds to the head.

Sheriff deputies said Madden was with the victims around the time of their murder. He was also reportedly doing drugs.

Madden used one of the victim's cell phones around the time of the murder to call his girlfriend, deputies said.

When Madden's girlfriend picked him up, he boasted about a fight he had with the two victims, deputies said. He was picked up a few blocks from the murder scene.

Investigators have not recovered the weapon in the shootings. The Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help.

Anyone with information about these killings should contact the Investigations Unit at 405-713-1017.
