Truck crashes into swimming pool

A pick-up truck and its driver took a dive into a swimming pool Monday morning at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

Witness saw the driver hit the gas and speed through an iron gate and land in the pool at the Riviera Apartments near NW 50 and Hales Drive.

Resident Jamie Hilbert said he jumped in to help free the driver.

"The first thing I did is just run down there - can't swim, but ran down there and jumped in," he said.

Someone else handed him a hammer and he busted the window pulled the driver out. 

The driver was placed in the back of a police car.
