SEMINOLE, Okla. -- A Seminole family is considering moving because they believe ghosts are tormenting them.

Deborah Miller and her family have lived in their home for more than three years. According to her, the unexplainable activity she has been experiencing has occurred since she moved in.

"There's a lot that goes on here. It just depends on when," Miller said. "You see shadows running around, just weird things."

An incident with Miller's 17 year old daughter prompted her to contact Oklahoma Paranormal Research and Investigations.

"I took a picture of my daughter for her prom, and the mirror that's on the wall had somebody in it," Miller said. "Actually, it looks like it has two somebody's in it."

According to Miller, the homeowner before her might have had her own experiences.

"The last lady that lived here before me, took a loan out on the house and ran," Miller said. "She left her stuff, her clothes, her TV, everything. She just left."

Miller hopes the paranormal group OKPRI can help her with answers concerning the activity she is experiencing.

"I'm hoping maybe they can pinpoint what it was, if there's something I can do to help it," Miller said. "Something I can do to make it leave. My house is up for sale because it's uncomfortable back there."

Founder of OKPRI Christy Selfridge said many times homeowners are looking for proof of what they're experiencing.

"A lot of them are like, ‘We know these things are happening, but we don't know exactly what it is and what's causing it'," Selfridge said. "Some of them are like, ‘I feel like I'm going crazy,' and they're like, ‘We just want some sort of proof to validate that the things that we are experiencing are real.'"

The investigative team of OKPRI will spend an entire night at Miller's residence, trying to experience the haunt first hand, and capture any kind of evidence proving the existence of paranormal activity.

A follow up to this story with results of the investigation will post soon.
