Fear no more

Hey there everyone.... It seems everyday we wake up  inundated with news that appears worse than the day before... especially when it comes to the economy.

High gas prices.... the dollar droping....oil prices up.. the stock market down... Yikes!

It's just part of the combination that's giving the economy a beating...and putting a lot of fear in our minds.  I talked with Vince Orza, Dean of the Meinders School of Business at OCU... He told me while there is cause for concern... you don't have to be overly concerned if you have your ducks in order.  Orza says if you have your money in a bank that is federally insured then you can breathe easier.  I just looked at my 401-K this morning and have taken a  little hit recently... But Orza says do not panic and pull your money out of the market.... It would be the worst things that could ever happen.

        Save more and spend less is probably what most of us will be doing.  But I am choosing to not live in fear... and hope you will do the same thing.  The "Good Book" says "Fear Not" more than 400 times...maybe that means we should take it to heart.
