Fire incinerates 4 Noble apartments

NOBLE, Okla. -- A fire swept through an apartment complex in Noble Sunday morning, leaving four apartments incinerated.

Officials said the blaze could have started as an electric fire at the Parkside Apartments at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

"We have made a good stop on it. Eight apartments [were ablaze] and we're only going to loose the middle four. So we were able to salvage the two end apartments on both ends," said Gary Bonner, a Noble fire chief.

Fire officials have not announced an exact cause of the fire.

No serious injuries were reported.
