Fire consumes northwest home

A house on the northwest side of Oklahoma City is a total loss after a fire consumed the vacant home, District Chief Larry Rusher said.

Rusher said the blaze at NW 5 St. and Woodland Way had "fully involved" the roof of the house by the time they arrived. The roof collapsed soon thereafter.

The one-story home was vacant and is considered a $90,000 loss, authorities said.
