A 12-year-old boy was rushed to the operating room after colliding with a car in northwest Oklahoma City.
Jacob Lampson was taken by helicopter Tuesday to the hospital after being hit by the car near NW 10 and Morgan Road. Family members said he broke his arm, leg and cracked his skull.
"He was bored and home alone so he went out to skateboard," Jacob's sister Jennifer Lampson said. "He was trying to cross Morgan Road."
Lampson said her brother won't be skateboarding for a while.
"He is going to be in a cast pretty much all summer," she said.
