Girl pulled from water park pool dies

Tanyjah Hall, 7, has died, one day after she was found at the bottom of a pool at the Splash Zone Water Park in Enid, police said.

Authorities saida witness spotted the girl at the bottom of a pool and helped to pull the child out of the water at around 6 p.m. The witness and a lifeguard performed CPR on the girl until help arrived, police said.

The girl was taken to an Enid hospital where she was stabilized and was then transported by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital. She died shortly before 6 a.m. Friday morning, May 30.
