Chance for storms returns to state Friday evening

Warmer and mostly dry weather returned to the state the end of this workweek, but the chance for showers and storms returns late Friday through the weekend.

There is a slight chance for showers and storms across the northern half of the state beginning late Friday.  Some of these storms may become severe with large hail and damaging winds being the primary threats.
