One fatality in wreck northeast of metro

Emergency crews worked a fatal wreck at NE 50 and Post Road.

According to the preliminary investigation, the driver of the car sped through a stop sign and was clipped by a passing pickup truck. The force of the collision sent the car off the roadway where it rolled.

The two men who were transported to the hospital were alert and responsive when they left the scene. The third man died after being pinned inside the vehicle.

The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital.

The names of those involved have not been released.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department said Spencer Police Department will continue with the investigation.
