Well here we are starting our last week! Christyn and I did our workout this morning and now that leaves us with three more before the conclusion of this competition next Wednesday.
I wanted to tell you about my walk this week, I was a part of a team who marched for babies this Saturday in downtown OKC for the March of Dimes. We had a great time, and after it warmed up and the hurricane force winds stopped blowing it was actually a nice day. This is my second year to do this walk and last year I walked the whole thing which I did 5.5 miles in around 2 ½ hours, maybe even three hours I don't know for sure. However, this year I ran and walked the whole thing, thanks to my newer and more in shape body and completed the full 5.5 miles in around 1 hour and 7 min. AWSOME! What a great sense of accomplishment I felt.
How's everyone doing with their goals? No one responds back to us on this so I can only assume everyone is working so hard they have no time to respond to the blogs, LOL! No seriously, if there is one thing that this thing has taught me its taught me to be excited about even the smallest of accomplishments, because if you will get behind that .2 lb weight loss and you get excited about it, then before you know it your excitement translates into harder work and a larger weight loss. Don't give up! And keep watching because I think this week might be a good week of weight loss for us contestants. Stay healthy.
