Oklahoma families are getting some help putting food on the table.

Churches across the state sell boxes of food for $30 as part of Angel Food Ministries.

Families pay ahead of time for the monthly package of food.  Angel Food Ministries ships it here from Georgia. Then churches hand it out.

Each box holds enough to feed a family of four for a week, or a single person for a month.

"I think their hearts are in the right place," participant Bruce Fleming said. "They're doing a real good job. They really care about the people."
