Remembering our fallen soldiers

Posted: Updated:

Tina Bates has made it her mission to make sure we all remember our fallen soldiers, after her younger brother, William "Billy" Bushnell, died on April 21, 2007 in Iraq. She hopes the United States Postal Service will print a stamp that she created, and put it into circulation so that every man and woman who have ever fought for the United States are honored.

Tina's used the internet to garner support. On her page at, she's recieved messages from people all over the country. Some knew Billy, others are strangers. But they all saw Tina's effort to keep the memory of her brother and other fallen soldiers alive, as comendable.
