Our first 5k

Kevin and I completed our first 5K by participating in the Heartwalk on Saturday.  It was so much fun.  I really did not know what to expect, but after I got there it was so much fun.  I encourage everyone go at least one time.  I did and now I am hooked I am planning on attending next year. 

After the walk was done I was so proud of Kevin and I, we worked for our goal and we attained that goal. It feels great knowing we accomplished it; our next goal is going thru the last half of this competition and not giving up. 

I probably already mentioned this in one of my other blogs, but I just cannot stop talking about it.  I have so much more energy now that I did seven weeks ago.  When I get home from work it is hard for me to just sit down, I am constantly looking for something to do! Saturday after the walk I thought I would be tired, no not all, I came home and started cleaning and doing laundry.  I love it. 

Kevin has been working a lot more so of course he still tired, but I cannot blame him after working a straight 16-hours and sleeping for five hours and doing it all over again.  I do not know how he does it.  Well until next blog.
