ORU again urged to release audit

An attorney challenged Oral Roberts University officials to make an audit of the school's finances public.

The school's board of regents ordered an outside firm to conduct the audit last fall, but its contents were never made public.

Last week, Tulsa attorney Gary Richardson filed a lawsuit on behalf of former senior accountant Trent Huddleston, who alleged that more than a $1 billion was inappropriately funneled through the school every year.

Richardson said if the school doesn't release the results, it could haunt officials.
