Okay, Kevin finally lost 6 lbs; he really needed this to lift his spirits. He has lost 8 lbs so far, yea for him!
I have to correct myself on the last blog; I said the doctor gave him medicine for his diabetes I meant his thyroid. The doctor felt like it was a little under active so he started him on some thyroid medication. I am hoping that this will help Kevin. He was getting so frustrated that everyone else was losing and he wasn't. He is being so good. For those who have battled dieting knows when you have done really good and not cheated once, and you go to weigh and you gain a freakin' pound it is enough to make you want to give up. Kevin has hung in there; he wants this really bad too. I am so proud of him, I am proud of both of us.
I am still hanging in there I have lost 14 pounds to date. We weigh in later this afternoon so hopefully Kevin and I have lost some more this week.
We have been in this competition now for six weeks and I have now begun to be addicted to exercise. I am always trying to fit in exercise at any point in the day; I don't care if it is for only five minutes I do something productive. People who know me are going to be like WHAT!
I want to run that is my thing now I want to run. I don't run for long but I have to run for a little bit. Kevin and I now race when we are able to go the park at the end of our walk we will sprint to the finish like the last ¼ mile we will sprint. It is so much fun.
We have the Heart Walk this weekend and I cannot wait. I am so excited for this; I have always wanted to do something like this. Until next blog.
