Heavy rainfall this week has caused flooding in Guthrie, leaving some roads and homes underwater.
Guthrie schools are shut down and several roads are blocked by standing water.
A family who lives in Guthrie said the water came rushing in through their garage, into their home. They scrambled to salvage their belongings, but most are floating in the house now. Many residents said they'd never seen anything like this before.
"It was rising, we shut all the doors, put some towels down, trying to fight it," said Tom Kennett, a Guthrie-resident. "It was coming in through all the doors and we had to leave."
Fire officials said it could take days before the water clears out of the area.
