Cats only at this hotel and spa

Aristocats Feline Suites Hotel and Spa is the newest pet paradise for finicky felines.

The 28-room overnight boarding house and grooming facility in Oklahoma City caters only to cats. Hotel amenities include heated beds, sterilized cat toys and hydrotherapy baths.

Owner Allennia Voerster said she opened her business because the metro lacks professional cat grooming businesses.

"There's many places for dogs, or dogs and cats, or dogs by themselves," Voerster said. "There's also a lot of groomers that don't want to work on cats because they're not as comfortable handling them."

Voerster, a Norman resident, has worked in the veterinarian business for almost 30 years.

"I understand the cat personality," she said. "I'm very patient and love on them and every cat that comes here will get a lot of extra T.L.C."

Room rates range from $15 to $30.
