Man arrested in connection to El Reno stabbing

An El Reno man was stabbed multiple times Saturday afternoon.

Anthony Ray Meely, 27, was in stable condition Saturday night at Parkview Hospital after being stabbed several times earlier in the day, according to a police report.

Police arrested Milford Fletcher, 42, El Reno, in connection with the stabbing.

Officers said they found a knife they think was used in the stabbing in Fletcher's apartment.

Fletcher was being held in the El Reno City jail on a complaint of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Police said they expect charges will be filed early next week.
