Doctor charged for allegedly touching patients inappropriately

An Oklahoma City doctor is charged with three counts of felony sexual battery for allegedly touching female patients inappropriately.

Three women said Dr. Jeffrey Porras touched their breasts under their shirts while using a stethoscope, police said. One woman claimed he touched her buttocks and another said Porras rubbed her legs, police said.

Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Paco Balderrama said authorities suspect Porras has improperly touched other women, especially those of Hispanic descent who don't speak English or may be afraid to go to police.

State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision Director Lyle Kelsey said he's aware of the charges but the board is still investigating.
