I'm Changing My Game Plan

Here's my problem when it comes to filling out my bracket...and trust me, I am the worst bracket filler-outer ever. I live in the "One Shining Moment" world. I'm in sports broadcasting because of "One Shining Moment." And the flurry of Cinderellas and last second shots and tears and jubilation and endless drama prods me toward picking the upsets. I always pick too many upsets because that's what I want to see. I pick with my heart rather than my head...but I mean, come on...who wants to see all the #1-seeds make it?

So Suzy in accounting ends up winning the office pool while I, who am so much smarter than Suzy, end up as a perennial bottom feeder.  So this year friends, nothing but chalk for me. I'm taking all the top seeds...except maybe Drake. I love the Drake...and maybe Butler too. They're good. And maybe just Winthrop and Baylor and Davidson, I forgot about Davidson...but that's it. Just the favorites for me this year...and Kent State.
