Harmon's Bombers will take on the local Oklahoma Sports Science & Orthopedics team made up of a number of area neurologists, neurosurgeons and NEWS 9's own Doug Warner, who has played for the O.S.S.O. Outlaws during the last two annual match-ups. He even hit a home run over The Brick's left field fence during last year's game. However his heroics weren't enough to carry the Outlaws to victory, the Bombers won 12-7.
The proceeds from the game will help support all the good work being done at The Children's Center. The Children's Center is a place of hope and healing for children with debilitating illnesses, who suffer from birth defects, or were injured in a traumatic accident, have drug-dependent parents or were physically abused or neglected. The private, nonprofit hospital provides 24-hour medical care, rehabilitative therapies and special education for the children.
