OU student struck by car on Wednesday

Norman, Okla. -- A University of Oklahoma student is still in the hospital Thursday morning after being hit by a car on Wednesday.

Gary Jeffrey Jr., 21, was riding his bike across Lindsey Street when an SUV struck him, police said.

Several passerbys stopped to help Jeffrey before the paramedics arrived to the scene. The student sustained multiple injuries.
