Week two was a good one


The end of week 2 was very good.  The one pound gain did not let us lose hope, but just made us stronger we were even more determined.  We know that dieting consists of gaining and losing.  Although, we are trying to lose fat we want to gain muscle so that we are not flabby when we lose the weight we want.  We are very anxious to see how we did this week and how the Bylers did.

March 9 was mine and Kevin's 6th wedding anniversary.  It was a great day.  We went to a restaurant for the first time since being in this competition.  I was a little nervous about going usually we order our appetizer and then we get full by the time dinner arrives but we still manage to eat our dinner.  But not this time I went in with a game plan I got online and went to the Applebees website and looked up the menu and found the weight watcher foods.  I knew what I was going to order so that I did not have to look at the menu when we got there.  We walked in, got water with lemon and ordered us a very healthy meal.  We got to enjoy a very delicious dinner. 

I was very proud of us, we did good we were able to overcome the temptation of ordering the "good stuff".  When we left we felt satisfied.  We can do this and still feel like we are a part of society. 

Kevin and I were discussing just how much better we feel now that we have been exercising regularly we feel more energized, we are sleeping better, and we just feel good.  I am so anxious to see what it feels like after the 12 weeks of this great competition.
