Checking out an exterminator

I could hardly believe the stories that the Department of Agriculture told me!  They said a couple of years ago, they started getting complaints about a certain pest control company which would come out and spray, but it never did any good.  When the Department started investigating, they found the substance the company was spraying..... was WATER!!! 

There are many good companies, but obviously a few bad ones out there too.  So from now on, I will personally be checking with the Department of Ag before I hire an exterminator.  They can tell you if their licensed.... which is required in Oklahoma.  May I also suggest making sure the company is bonded.  They can tell you if the company has had any violations.  The company that Angie Kennedy used in our story had 1.  The department of Ag says 1 isn't reason for concern.  But they were interested in the fact the company hadn't finished their spraying.  So if you have ANY problems with a company (licensed or not) the department will investigate.
