A winter weather and travel advisory remains in effect across the metro on Monday morning as an upper level storm system moves through the area.

A winter weather and travel advisory remains in effect across the metro on Monday morning as an upper level storm system moves through the area.

Snow, blowing snow and icy rain falls and will continue to fall throughout the day. Roadways remain wet and slightly slick during the morning commute. One inch of snow accumulation is possible in the city and three inches possible in Tulsa.

Strong gusting winds will also continue to blow throughout the metro. Winds will be gusting up up to 40 mph Monday as this storm system passes through the state.

The wintry precipitation will shift out of the state by tomorrow, bringing much warmer temperatures with highs in the 50s.
