Saturday afternoon and evening's high fire danger will affect western and northwest Oklahoma.
A dryline will move east into that part of the state, bringing extremely dry air behind it over the region.
There will also be southwest winds at 20-30 mph with warm afternoon temperatures in the 70s. These conditions are the recipe for high fire danger, and any fires that do start will spread quickly and be difficult to contain.
